Orchidea Coffee was born in 2024, founded by Bo and Val Ferrando as a tribute to the generations of dedication that have gone into cultivating the finest coffee in the mountains of Colombia. Val, a Colombian Native, grew up surrounded by the traditions of coffee, and Orchidea’s journey begins on her family’s coffee farm in Villeta, Cundinamarca, Colombia, a region known for its rich volcanic soil, high altitude, and ideal climate for producing exceptional coffee.

For decades, Val’s family has nurtured their land with passion and care, growing coffee that reflects the soul of its origin. Inspired by this legacy, we set out to share the authentic flavors of our farm with the world. What began at local farmer’s markets quickly grew into something bigger; a commitment to bringing high-quality, ethically sourced coffee directly from our family’s farm to coffee lovers everywhere.
